Ballet students love the new look and firm footing of the new school.
“When I started on the project I spent a great deal of time in the building and saw a lot of the young ballet students, who were so full of enthusiasm that they even practised during their breaks, standing on tiptoe and pulling off other amazing moves. It was great fun to watch. The longer I spent there and got to know the building the more I came to understand how much they need their own school building. Not one like the one they had, however, with its crumbling façade and sinking foundations. Our team did a lot of work to stop the building sinking any further into the ground and to restore it to its original 17th-century glory. Today the school is an inviting home to a lot of ballet artists and will remain unchanged for many years to come.”
